Say goodbye to the old...And helllllooo...to the new <3OMG. That's beautiful! Welcome to All the Stuff =) because that's what we will be talking about up in this space. But why the new website, K.K.??So much has changed in my book world in the past year. If you're relatively new to "me" then you might not know that when I first started publishing my work, I was writing young adult fiction. At the time, I had no intention of switching genres. By the end of 2015, when I was wrapping up The Descendants, the last book in the Summer Solstice trilogy, I started to think about what I wanted to write next. Truth be told, I rarely read fantasy books! I'm more of a Contemporary Romance reader, and always have been. Nicholas Sparks, who I talk about in pretty much every interview I'm in, is a huge inspiration for me. Wanna know a secret? The Summer Solstice Enchanted was originally a Contemporary Romance story, but I couldn't do it. I was too shy to write romance! This is one of the many reasons the romance takes a backseat in the first book, but then you slowly see it start to emerge throughout the series :) Well, there ya go :)At the end of the day, romance is where my heart is. Those who have read Up in the Treehouse may already know this <3 That story had my heart and I am so proud of what it became and the amount of love it's received! You all are amazing; bloggers, readers, the author community. I've truly been blessed throughout this experience. Romance vs. Fantasy - Work in ProgressAs some of you have already picked up on (hehe), there will be a companion novel to Up in the Treehouse. This story will focus on a different couple, but some of our faves will definitely be making an appearance or two. The novel has a tentative title, and all things are in the works. My plan is to get this in your hands this Winter! So wish me luck as I crawl back into my writing cave. For my Fantasy fans! Don't go thinking the Summer Solstice Series is done. No way. There is so much more to tell, and the next book in the series is being outlined now. I can't say any more than this...just, get ready... Get to the point K.K.!Okay, okay! This website is a place I want you all to come back to so that you can always have the latest information. Those who subscribe to my newsletter and follow me on Facebook will always hear the news first. But this is a space where, if you missed anything, you'll find it easily. I'm not going to lie, guys, it's tough finding time to do everything, and I often feel guilty for not writing books (like now!). I needed to update this website of mine to make my life easy, lol. It's cleaner! Happier! There's even a place where you can leave a comment below! And now that I've started booking events, that information is clearly visible. Annnnd my favorite feature of this new space, is the landing page. You get to choose what books you want to see: Romance or Fantasy. I'm also working on another page focused on books I LOVE that you will love too! I know what it's like after finishing an amazing book and immediately searching for more just like that. If you love any one of my books, I will have the perfect recommendation for you :) So stay tuned for that. Make sure to leave a comment below <3Let me know what you think of the new site! All opinions welcome. <3 you guys!!
